Yosua 4:7

4:7 tell them how the water of the Jordan stopped flowing ¹  before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the water of the Jordan stopped flowing. ²  These stones will be a lasting memorial for the Israelites.”

Yosua 6:6

6:6 So Joshua son of Nun summoned the priests and instructed them, “Pick up the ark of the covenant, and seven priests must carry seven rams’ horns in front of the ark of the Lord.”

Yosua 9:11

9:11 Our leaders and all who live in our land told us, ‘Take provisions for your journey and go meet them. Tell them, “We are willing to be your subjects. ³  Make a treaty with us.”’

Yosua 23:16

23:16 If you violate the covenantal laws of the Lord your God which he commanded you to keep, ⁴  and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, ⁵  the Lord will be very angry with you and you will disappear ⁶  quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”
